On the Death of Friends

As long as mankind is trapped on Earth, we are like rats in a cage, with the potential for much anguish and despair. No wonder then that so many take the nihilistic path to self-destruction, or embrace hedonism to dispel their suffering. No wonder that children conclude that there is nothing to live for, no hope for the future, only more suffering. Drug and alcohol addiction are not the disease, but the symptoms.

Space offers unlimited potential for the human race, growth in all directions. It offers hope for the future. The realization of our dreams of spaceflight can carry us into a future with more potential for each individual, more opportunity, more resources, and a greater degree of freedom. Some are seizing that future now. We hope you'll join us.
