In Space Letters Today:

These are a few of the letters we have received in regard to the untimely passing of Houston Space Society President Tara Horrigan's mother. Tara's mother, Marcia Horrigan, passed away at the age of 59 from complications arising after a brief illness. Tara would like everyone to know how much the cards and emails and letters mean to her in her time of grief. She also points out that her mother was never very happy about cut flowers. Rather than sending flowers, Tara suggests that contributions be made in her mother's name to the Houston Space Institute's animal research center. If you would like to make such a contribution, please make your check payable to Houston Space Society, Inc., and send to Houston Space Society, Inc., 5300 North Braeswood, Suite 394, Houston, TX 77096.

Dear Editor:
We were very sorry to hear of the loss of Tara's mother. I hope your trip to Pensacola went well and Jim took good care of you. Let me know if there is anything we can do. We hope you can come visit us soon. "This comes with warm thoughts, sincere sympathy, and the heartfelt hope that, now and always, you will know friends are with you."

Dear Editor:
My condolences. Two years ago my father passed away. Some things take priority over even things we spend most of our energies on. Best wishes.

Dear Editor:
Please pass my condolences on to Tara. Pam's mother died last Monday. She went to Colorado this past week to bury her. I had to stay here and mind the shop. So we are recently experienced in that kind of grief, and would not wish it on anyone.

Dear Editor:
