The Alvin O. Carley Memorial Library is the research library of the Houston Space Institute. Currently, the library holds over 25,000 volumes including special collections, general stacks, and periodicals.

Anthony Settles Collection in Physics and Biochemistry
Jim Davidson Collection in History and Entrepreneurship
Robert Valdez Maps of the Solar System Collection
Jerry T. Drake Periodicals Collection
Clifford Carley Collection in Space History

Our library is housed in Southwest Houston, and is available to researchers from 10 am to 8 pm, Monday through Saturday. Call for an appointment (713) 990-9536. The Alvin O. Carley Memorial Library provides lending privileges for $20 per year.
