FBI Operation Lightning Strike:
You Call This Justice?

Information on the issues, questions, problems, and alarming trends surrounding Operation Lightning Strike are being organized into a detailed system of web pages by volunteers for the Houston Space Society. Why?

We're concerned by the treatment of the "NASA 13" who were evidently subjected to mental torture techniques which are illegal under national and international law. We're concerned by the outrageous conduct towards Dale Brown, who was entrapped, indicted, subjected to physical and mental abuse, assaulted, and thoroughly victimized by federal agents. We're pleased that Mr. Brown survived his ordeals, defended himself against all charges (which were dropped), and is now suing for damages.

Operation Lightning Strike and similar operations conducted by federal, state, and even local authorities, have tremendously damaging effects on commercial space ventures. Whenever individual rights are sacrificed to the supposed interests of the government, all Americans should be concerned. Operation Lightning Strike offers many lessons, some of them encouraging, others quite frightening.

For a great more detail on this situation, see the site built by space enthusiast Mark Laughlin here.

For some additional details on this situation, see the NASA 13 web site.

Late breaking interview with Dale Brown.

While we prepare our detailed exposé please enjoy the on-site movie, above. Thank you.
